Coheed & Cambria - Welcome Home

You could've been all I wanted
But you weren't honest
Now get in the ground
You choked off the surest of favors
But if you really loved me
You would've endured my world

Well you're just as I presumed
A whore in sheep's clothing
____ing up all I do
And if it's here we stop
Then never again
Will you see this in your life?

Hang on to the glory at my right hand
Here laid to rest is our love ever longed?
With truth on the shores of compassion
You seem to take premise to all of these songs

You stormed off to scar the armada
Like Jesus played letter,
I'll drill through your hands
The stone for the curse you have blamed me
With love and devotion, I'll die as you sleep
But if you could just write me out
To neverless wonder... happy will I become
Be true that this is no option,
So with sin I condemn you
Demon play, demon out!

Hang on to the glory at my right hand
Here laid to rest is our love ever longed?
With truth on the shores of compassion
You seem to take premise to all of these songs

One last kiss for you
One more wish to you
Please make up your mind girl...
I'd do anything for you
One last kiss for you
One more wish to you
Please make up your mind girl...
Before I hope you die

Fear of the dark-Iron Maiden (Live at rock in rio)

I am a man who walks alone
And when I'm walking a dark road
At night or strolling through the park

When the light begins to change
I sometimes feel a little strange
A little anxious when it's dark.

Chorus
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have constant fear that something's always near
Fear of the dark, fear of the dark
I have a phobia that someone's always there

Have you run your fingers down the wall
And have you felt your neck skin crawl
When you're searching for the light ?
Sometimes when you're scared to take a look
At the corner of the room
You've sensed that something's watching you.

repeat chorus

Have you ever been alone at night
Thought you heard footsteps behind
And turned around and no-one's there ?
And as you quicken up your pace
You find it hard to look again
Because you're sure there's someone there

repeat chorus

Fear of the dark, fear of the dark...
repeat x3

Watching horror films the night before
Debating witches and folklore
The unknown troubles on your mind
Maybe your mind is playing tricks
You sense,and suddenly eyes fix
On dancing shadows from behind.
repeat x2

When I'm walking a dark road
I am a man who walks alone
He sees himself as the saviour of the world
His will is strong and he's feeling good
Ive known him since the first taste of beer
I will meet him many times in a year

For the Tolkien fans:

Battlelore - The War of Wrath

The northern winds
Of baneful colds
Forever night
Of northern lights

In the Elder Days
Morgoth's realm in Northern Waste
Great threat to Arda's child
The War of Wrath it to become

Centuries of forlorn fight
Last hope, the aid divine
Guardian of the world
Gods of justice and light
Came and defeated the one
The master of disharmony

All ablaze by the glory of their arms
Swell of the trumpets filled the sky
Morgoth banished from Middle-earth
His reign, never shall rise again

In the Elder Days
Morgoth's realm in Northern Waste
Only ruin from the ancient times
By the battle of the Gods

Children of Bodom - Sixpounder

Can you say what you don't know?
In darkness of the odds
The wrecking voice is getting nearer
Awaiting the first sixpounder

Well, let me show you battle
That's from the path of hate
What it takes to bring you down
Like a spark resist you
Go go!!!

War!
I refuse to be brought down by you
Praise is far away from what you do
Not only are you cranking up my brain
I'm ready to blow you away... 666 (...pounder)

Hey! Wanna see the darker time
A time that never ends
It'll be too late for you
When you try to persuade me by
Pain!
Go!
Load the sixpounder!

Can you say what you don't know?
In darkness of the odds
What it takes to bring you down
Like a spark resist you
Pounder!

War!
War!
I refuse to be brought down by you
Praise is far away from what you do
Not only are you cranking up my brain
I'm ready to blow you away... 666

Show of Hands - Country Life: Country Life
Working in the rain cutting down wood
Didn't do my little brother much good
Lost two fingers ina chainsaw bite
All he does now is drink and fight
Sells a bit of grass hots up cars
Talks of travel never gets far
Loves his kids left his wife
An everyday story of country life

And the red brick cottage where I was born
Is the empty shell of a holiday home
Most of the year there's no-one there
The village is dead and they don't care
Now we live on the edge of town
Haven't been back since the pub closed down
One man's family pays the price
FOr another man's visio of country life

My old man is eighty four
His generation won the war
He left the farm forever when
They only kept on one in ten
Landed gentry county snobs
Where were you when they lost their jobs
No-one marched or subsidised
To save a country way of life

Silent fields empty lanes
Drifting smoke distant flames
Picture postcard hills on fire
Cattle burning in funeral pyres
Out to graze they look so sweet
We hate the blood we want the meat
Buy me a beer I'll take my knife
Cut you a slice of country life

If you want cheap food well here's the deal
Family farms are brought to heel
Hammer blows of size and scale
Foot and mouth the final nail
The coffin of our English dream
Lies out on the village green
While agri-barons CAP in hand
Strip this green and pleasant land
Of meadow, woodland, hedgerow, pond
What remains gets built upon

No trains, jobs
No shops, no pubs

What went wrong
Country life
It's a little bit of country life
Dea...no...eternal damn...still no...marzipan to the infidels (far better we'll rot their teeth out and ruin them with dentist bills)

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Hey

Won't somebody come along
And teach me how to keep it alive?
To survive.

Come along and show me something
That I never knew in your eyes.
Take away the tournicate.

I used to be so full of my confidence,
I used to know just what I wanted and just where to go.
More than ever I could use a coincidence,
But now I walk alone and talk about it when I know.

Hey, oh yeah, how long?
I guess I ought to walk away,
Hey, oh yeah, so long...
What you gonna do today?

I don't wanna have to, but I will,
If that's what I'm supposed to do.
We don't wanna set up for the kill,
But that's what I'm about to do.

Let it on, I'll cut you off when you're screaming into the phone.
Hard to own.
Anyway, I wanna let you know that everything is on hold.
What you gonna do to me?

You used to be so warm and affectionate.
All the little things I used to hear my fairy say,
But now you're quick to get into your regret.
I'll take the fall and now you got to give it all away.

Hey, what would you say if I stayed?
Stayed for a while, if I may.
Say it again and I'll come around,
But not for the last time...
Hey, what would you say if I changed?
I'll change everything but my name.
Play it again and I'll come around,
But not for the last time.

You used to be so warm and affectionate;
I used to know just what I wanted and just where to go.
And now you're quick to get into your regret;
And now I walk alone and talk about it when I know...

Hey, oh yeah, how long?
I guess you gotta walk away;
Hey, oh yeah, so long...
What you gonna do today?

Hey, oh yeah, how long?
I guess you gotta get away;
Hey, oh yeah, so long...
What you gonna do today?

INTERPOL: A TIME TO BE SO SMALL

The tenth and final track on Interpol's second album, Antics, is a masterpiece of lyrical and musical accomplishment. The cryptic message within the lyrics have bewildered fans for years, from speculation of a spurned lover to a failed parent. The image of the boat itself recalls previous mentions throughout the album of vessels, often depicted as a symbol of stability and relationships. The final note, "When the cadavarous..." has, however, been a particularly difficult sentence to crack. Is Paul Banks trying to tell us something in his mysteriously guarded way? Or is he simply looking at us from atop his high-rise NY residence and laughing?

I saw you from the urchins's side, from under the boat.
Saw you making knots, saw you get the rope.
The boy appearing on the deck and making it lurch,
The bubble of your interest ready to burst.

He whistles and he runs.

We saw you in distraction: a sleeping, slow despair,
Rehearsing interaction, he wasn't even there.
A creature is a creature, though you wish you were the wind;
The boat will not stop moving if you tie him up until the end.

He whistles and he runs -so hold him fast.
Breathe the burn, you want to let it last.
He might succumb to what you haven't seen,
He has a keen eye for what you used to be.

When the cadaverous mob saves its doors for the dead men,
You cannot leave.
When the cadaverous mob saves its doors for the dead men,
You cannot leave.

When the cadaverous mob saves its doors for the dead men,
You cannot leave.
A Lobster of Old.

Stone Temple Pilots - Plush

And I feel that time's a wasted go
So where ya going to tommorrow?
And I see that these are lies to come
Would you even care?

And I feel it
And I feel it

Where ya going for tommorrow?
Where ya going with that mask I found?
And I feel, and I feel
When the dogs begin to smell her
Will she smell alone?

And I feel, so much depends on the weather
So is it raining in your bedroom?
And I see, that these are the eyes of disarray
Would you even care?

And I feel it
And she feels it

Where ya going to tommorrow?
Where ya going with that mask I found?
And I feel, and I feel
When the dogs begin to smell her
Will she smell alone?

When the dogs do find her
Got time, time, to wait for tomorrow
To find it, to find it, to find it
When the dogs do find her
Got time, time, to wait for tomorrow
To find it, to find it, to find it

Where ya going for tommorrow?
Where ya going with that mask I found?
And I feel, and I feel
When the dogs begin to smell her
Will she smell alone?

When the dogs do find her
Got time, time, to wait for tomorrow
To find it, to find it, to find it
When the dogs do find her
Got time, time, to wait for tomorrow
To find it, to find it, to find it
To find it
To find it
To find it
Beat me, whip me, call me fluffy--AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!
