Beatles or Stones?

Postby Crimson Dave » October 5th, 2005, 4:33 pm

which band do you prefer overall? I'd have to go with the Beatles personally, but the Stones are still legends.

I prefer the Stones, however they can occasionaly make me dizzy & give me headaches - in which case I prefer paracetamol.

Beatles, just for the fact that I grew up listening to them (mom's a big fan).

Errr... Beetles? The stones are so old!

Every time I see footage of them I keep thinking mic's gonna fold over on stage and snap in two. That's just wrong. And that's not even going into the fact that the beetles have way better music...

Sinse the Beetles (those who are still alive), are still active today and roughly the same age as the Stones, that's not a very good reason.

Ah.. But they don't perform as 'The Beetles' anymore now do they? I mean, really, it would only be Macartney/Ringo parade anyway, not much of a band... But each of those pleasant old men do solo acts where, and this is very important, they sit.
