then this really isn't the best time of year for u to visit - all drizzly and cold (less than 20C). On the plus side - the streams have water in them again after the summer. It's quite pretty.

So better come here where the weather is unusually warm - more than 0C for the last few days, and almost no snow at all =)

1:- i'm coming for a friends wedding, thats why i'm here at this time of year.

2:-when I arrived the pilot of the plane said it was 10c.

3:- As I was traveling in the sherut ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Share_taxi ) 45 NIS ( http://www.exchange-rates.org/history/ILS/USD/T ) instead of over 400 NIS for a normal taxi. it takes about 2 hours to the area of Jerusalem I was going to from the airport, I was thinking on how green israel was looking.

games and movies don't always show the real thing, and yes there are camels and loads and loads of sandstone buildings, but only desert and certain parts of israel, other parts of israel, are quite modern. Pretty_Blossom can we have your opinion on what israel is like please.

I know that a big part of all avocadoes sold here come from Israel. From that I conclude that there must be avocado trees. The tiny avocado trees that live im our conservatory need loads of water, so I guess there must be some place in Israel where there's water. :D

On the other hand: TV news-Israel DOES look a bit dry.

That might have been a pun, i'm not sure, but the News dosn't always tell the truth, so you shouldn't believe what you see or hear.

Noooooooooo!

*starts running around in circles with madly flailing arms*

I know that you shouldn't believe EVERYTHING that's on TV, but your idea ofwhat a place/person is like gets shaped by it, even if you don't like it.
(e.g. Israel = desert, Scots = kilted, Germany = full of beer, sausages and shouting people etc)
